Will jewelry stores admit to their selling synthetic diamonds for years?
I doubt it. That would bring their nice little scam to an end, wouldn’t it?

I have real stones, and russian diamonds/ lab created. Even Jewelers can’t tell the difference, they are stunned when I tell them it’s not real. One even told me, that I shouldn’t tell anyone. He had not believed me, and asked to look at with his eye piece, and he just shook his head and told me it was one of the best pieces he had ever seen.
I think that jewelers are supposed to tell you the exact type of stone that your buying, and it should be written in your warranty.

Synthetics looks so much like the real thing,, I really wonder how many really are fake…I have always believed the market is so controlled and crooked…why would anyone buy controlled price for a stone…my wife bought a zircon and people marvel at it like its real…what a joke

A jeweler friend of mine said that many people with very expensive diamond necklaces and earrings have exact synthetic replicas made to wear them out on occasions. I question why anyone would buy expensive jewelry when it’s almost impossible to tell the difference.
Reputable dealers should explain that they are synthetic diamonds.
I also know that many dealers are not reputable.
My friend told my wife when she took the jewelry into a dealer for repair never to let her expensive diamonds out of her sight.
