Does pure silver make good jewelry?
I am looking cialis tablets to buy my mom and sister necklaces. I found a website that sells pure silver (.999) engravable necklaces. Does pure silver make good jewelery or is sterling silver better?

First of all, there is hardly any difference in price between sterling silver and fine silver. Only 7.5 % of sterling silver is copper and other metal, the rest is fine silver anyway. Sterling silver is manufactured because it is a bit harder than fine silver, due to the other metals mixed in. BUT, metal is not only made harder by alloying it with other metals, it can also made harder by working it. I use fine silver wire for the jewelry I make and I hammer it and put it into a rotary tumbler. By the time it’s finished it is just as hard as sterling silver. I wouldn’t use it for a ring though, especially not for an everyday ring. I am sure it is fine in a necklace.

Sterling silver in my opinion would be better. Pure can be used however but sterling will be a bit better.

i personally like pure better…it last longer and is more durable. i have a ring from my great great grandmother that is still in mint condition and has been worn by eveyone of us on a regular basis. i have foud sterling to be bendable, breakable and it dulls.

for a necklace pure silver is better but if you were thinking on buying earrings it would be sterling silver
